The results of the 3rd Start-up selection event AT-Virtual, held in Asturias on 30 June, are already known

This selection event was conceived with two specific purposes within the AT Virtual project: on the one hand, to contribute to spread the features and potentials of the Vision Technologies and its application in maritime conditions focus on training and, on the other hand, to carry out the selection of the start-ups that will collaborate with the Maritime Safety Training Centres in the development of the solutions proposed to face their challenges.
During the event, there was a brief introduction on the 5 challenges posed by the Maritime Rescue Training Centres and now the best solutions will work closely with these Centres.

- Challenge 01. Sociedad de Salvamento y Seguridad Marítima (Centro Jovellanos): requested vision technologies for emergency procedures in a helicopter cockpit mock-up, was won  by Azai.

- Challenge 02. MTU (National Maritime College of Ireland, Cork) proposed a challenge around Virtual Reality for fire fighting training, and will work with Virtual Tour Media

- Challenge 03. Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH) requested a solution around Virtual Celestial Environment for Celestial Navigation, will work with Inklusion Entertainment, SA

- Challenge 04. MTU (National Maritime College of Ireland, Cork / Ireland) requested a solution around an environmental sensor array, was won by Pibico.

- Challenge 05. The Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH) proposed a challenge to enhance training in handling and salvage of small vessels, will work with Pibico.
